Before Greatness LLC is a Colorado limited liability company founded to create beautiful, functional objects that combine 3D printing with embedded electronics, and to teach others how to do the same.

We exist at the intersection of hardware and software — building technology-enhanced products and educational content that make complex maker skills accessible to a broader audience.

We believe the best things are built before they’re perfect. Ship early, iterate often, and document everything.

Our Founder

Jeremy Schroeder is a Python developer, electrical engineer, and maker based in Colorado. He builds interactive electronics products through The Ephergent and documents the process at jeremyschroeder.net.

His work spans the full stack — from PCB design and 3D modeling to firmware, web development, and content creation. Online, he goes by @BitsofJeremy.
